Interlaboratory comparison tests confirmed the correctness of the concept
The EMTRA mobile measuring unit, which we developed for fast and accurate measurement of transformer efficiency in operation, has successfully passed interlaboratory comparison tests (MPZ). In cooperation with members of the Association of High Voltage Testing Laboratories (AZVN), we have verified that the overall concept is correctly designed and assembled. "The measurements confirmed that we can describe a realistic picture of the losses, efficiency, and technical condition of the equipment—based on hard data, not assumptions, without dismantling and unnecessary costs," comments Jiří Gregor, Director of Business Development at ORGREZ, on the test results.
The tests involved companies such as MSEM, a.s. (Frýdek-Místek), ČEZ Distribuce, a.s. – Metrology and Testing Laboratories (Plzeň-Křimice), Trafo CZ, a.s. (Hradec Králové), OMZ Hranice s.r.o., Strojírny a stavby Třinec, a.s. and ELPROINVEST, s.r.o. (Liberec). We would like to thank them all for their cooperation. The tests verified that the measurements are accurate, consistent, and in line with the results of other leading laboratories.
We have obtained accreditation for measuring transformer power losses
We have subsequently received accreditation from the Czech Accreditation Institute (ČIA) in accordance with the ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard. Our testing laboratory No. 1179.2 is now officially accredited for measuring transformer power losses using the short-circuit and no-load voltage determination method – a key component of our EMTRA mobile measurement system.
Thanks to this accreditation, every measurement from our laboratory now has:
- Weight – results are recognized by both professional and legislative circles.
- Repeatability – the same measurement will yield the same results whenever it is performed.
- Comparability – values are fully comparable with other accredited laboratories.
For our customers, this means certainty of accurate, reliable, and professionally verified results, whether it's transformer diagnostics, loss measurements, or assessing the actual efficiency of equipment.
