We are helping Serbia’s largest energy company to assess and decarbonise its portfolio

Since the beginning of the year, ORGREZ, as a partner of KPMG, has been involved in a major reengineering project of Elektroprivreda Srbie (EPS), an energy company owned by the Serbian government, which, with its activities in mining, production, supply, distribution and trading of electricity, is the economic and energy backbone and the largest company in the country.

ORGREZ is in charge of one of the major parts of the project, namely Generation and Mining. It sets up the company’s upstream processes to allocate cash as efficiently as possible, introduces operational risk management, and sets up collaboration with the trading and EPS teams, all with the aim of maximising the value of the existing portfolio and transforming towards decarbonisation.

For this type of service, a team of specialists has been created under the parent company ORGREZ GROUP, which builds on the technical consulting services and deals with the maximum use of existing portfolios before decarbonisation. “We create plans for our customers to maximise the value of their existing portfolio and design an effective pathway for its transformation towards decarbonisation. Efficiently, economically, ecologically,” Vladimír Hlavinka, owner and CEO of ORGREZ Group, introduces the service.

Based on a detailed knowledge of the production portfolio, production processes, investments and trading, ORGREZ presents customers with optimal options for operating the existing portfolio and the most suitable options for changing the production portfolio towards decarbonisation. “We simply advise on how to make the most of existing resources and make the transformation at the right time,” summarises Vladimír Hlavinka.
